How often is maintenance carried out?
Our Azure Managed Services Partner, Transparity, carries out monthly maintenance to apply Windows and security updates within a predefined maintenance window: the third weekend of each month, from Friday 11.00 pm to Saturday 2.00 am GMT.
DeleteDoes maintenance result in downtime?
Due to the resilience built into the platform (SQL clustering and load-balanced web application servers), this doesn’t normally result in any application downtime because Transparity can fail the servers over to redundant infrastructure when the patches are applied.
In terms of unexpected downtime on our UK site, we had some brief interruptions of a few minutes during business hours in April and May 2022, making the uptime in those months 99.98% and 99.99%respectively. Outside of this, the uptime has been 100%.
