Introduction

If you need to change year ends for your company, contact support@accountsiq.com.

It is only possible to have 12 monthly periods in a financial year. This can start from any month, for example, January to December or May to April. If you require longer than this, you can change the year end but there will still only be 12 months for your financial year. For example, if you have a July to June financial year and want to change to a December year end, we can change your financial year to January – December.

Best Practice 

Please follow this advice regarding the changing of year ends:

1. Before changing year ends, print any reports you need for your old year ends, such as Trial Balances, Balance Sheet, and Profit and Loss reports.
2. After changing year ends, any current completed year ends will be removed.
3. After changing year ends, complete period ends and year ends again as the year end is now new.
